During the month of July we’re calling on our corporate supporters to take on your own 24/7 fundraising challenge to help us be there when it matters most.
You’ll inspire employees to think more about their own mental health and make suicide prevention a priority. You'll harness the power of your brand to help more people seek support – and support each other – when it matters.

Your fundraising will help someone get help when they need it most. Every hour of every day. For every life we can help to save.
If you are planning to raise awareness for Samaritans this July, please feel free to use and adapt the internal news copy below to remind colleagues that Samaritans are there 24/7 for anyone going through a difficult time.
Samaritans Awareness Day, 24/7 raises awareness that Samaritans are there to listen without judgement or pressure. Every hour. Of every day. For everyone who needs them. And every life they can help to save.
Every 10 seconds, Samaritans respond to a call for help from someone who is finding life tough.
We are proud to support Samaritans, an incredible cause that is needed now more than ever. To show our support, we will be raising awareness of the charity throughout July, as well as marking Samaritans Awareness Day on 24 July.
If you’d like to get involved, you can also help to raise awareness by sharing Samaritans’ messages[link] on your own social media. Or why not donate [link] or take on your own fundraising challenge [link] to raise money for Samaritans?
Remember, when life is difficult, Samaritans are there to listen day or night. You can call them for free on 116 123, email them at [email protected], or visit www.samaritans.org to find your nearest branch.
Let’s prevent suicide today. Because tomorrow’s too late.
